Route Diverted - NRM

Three of Pune's budding Railfans - Jattin Bhavsar , Raj Bhavsar and Chaitanya Gokhale went on an indefatigable journey of the prevalent meter gauge trains in Rajasthan and Gujarat covering the overnight Ahmedabad-Udaipur Meter gauge and the old and dusty Mavli-Marwar MG Section en route to the NRM 2010 Convention. The trip began from Mumbai with the Shatabdi Express to Ahmedabad and continued with Ahmedabad-Udaipur MG, Udaipur to Mavli via road transport and then then again on very backward and unconnected Mavli-Marwar Meter gauge train. The journey of rails was continued by 6210 Mysore-Ajmer Exp to Ajmer from Marwar and then the Ajmer-New Delhi Shatabdi Express to Delhi. The album contains pictures taken in the above order of journey from Ahemedabad to Delhi.Images taken with due permission from CPRO-NWR.
