Satpura Farewell
Just before Gauge Conversion closed services on the Satpura Narrow Gauge Railway, a diverse team of railfans travelled the length and breadth of the system to document it for posterity.

Shikara is a longish halt for the Satpura Express. The entire train makes it way off to the market outside for chai and samosas!

The last phase of our trip as we arrive near the Narmada river in the outskirts of Jabalpur and the train towards Balaghat takes a sharp curve away after clearing the huge viaduct and accelerates. (Trayambak Ojha)

Superb work. Thanks for taking the pains and for sharing. Due to the work by IRFCA members, such gems are being preserved for ever, even though only electronically.
