Satpura Farewell
Just before Gauge Conversion closed services on the Satpura Narrow Gauge Railway, a diverse team of railfans travelled the length and breadth of the system to document it for posterity.
By the time larger coaches with larger windows ply on this line, the kids would have grown a little larger as well.

Nainpur Jn is one of the cleanest stations anywhere on the IR network. let's hope it retains this character even in the BG avatar (Rajit Kumar)
The lovely waiting hall at Nainpur Jn. This is one of the very few stations that comes with its resident cobbler. A very handy person, considering I broke my only pair of footwear on the journey and the man fixed it 5 minutes flat.
Nainpur is also famous for its live dosa stalls. Not that I liked them much, but fresh food is always welcome.

Superb work. Thanks for taking the pains and for sharing. Due to the work by IRFCA members, such gems are being preserved for ever, even though only electronically.
