Our first task was to get to the Dhulghat station and present the permission from SCR HQ to the station master. As mentioned earlier, the only way to reach Dhulghat is to walk across this 91 meter long bridge. Walking on narrow, springy steel strips of the bridge takes getting used to.

Raghavendra and Apurva show the (mental) stress of walking on this vertigo inducing structure on their faces and in their deliberately disciplined marching stance. However this bridge was good training for the rest of the day where we walked even a longer and taller viaduct at the spiral, which is located a kilometer south of this location.
