The spiral lies between Wan Road and Dhulghat stations of the Akola - Khandwa MG route. The road to the location passes through the Akot and Wan wildlife sanctuaries which are protected by two sets of gates. These are open only during daytime (after you pay the prescribed charges), so one has to leave the place before late evening.
