Not sure what this unit does, pulley, lever, counterweight, sliding parts... By the side of the tracks near Dhulghat.

Was this found near the Home signal(or any other semaphore signal)of Dhulghat station which has been mentioned in a previous picture?If so then it could be the original counterweight arrangement to ensure that the signal returns to Danger in case the wire breaks.However even then it would be strange arrangement as normally the counterweight is provided on the signal mast itself and connected to the semaphore arm by a solid rod.
