I had originally planned to visit the Shindawane Ghats near Pune with IRFCA legends Apurva and Lalam but unfortunately the plans fell apart due to unforeseen events so instead Apurva booked me to ride up and back the Bhor Ghats to. I departed down the Ghats on 11024 to Karjat where I alighted and met up with fellow IRFCA member Jayant Ramdasi before boarding 11025 back up the ghats to Lonvala where I had some time to photograph the lines of waiting bankers before departing to Pune on 11011 with a WDM3D leading the way. I grabbed a seat in the unreserved first coach and listened to the beautiful ALCO music as we rolled through the flatlands on the way to Pune. After relaxing in my room I met up with Apurva who accompanied me to the station to see me off on my 11077 Jehlum Express to Khandwa and my meter gauge adventure.
