YDM4 on the final leg of the journey. These locos are maintianed by the Golden Rock workshops at Trichirapally. They cant do the Conoor - Mettupaliyam run by themselves. So when they go to GOC they go down with a steam loco to Metupaliyam and then are loaded onto an open flat goods train for GOC. Taken from Metupaliyam - Ooty Nilgiri passenger on 3 Dec 2005.
