Jagan, my theory is that the Loco was painted from the inside too & so the doors have been left open to dry the paint.

The latest diesels are bulgies ! That observation crumbles another belief that only rebuilt locos have the 'bulge'.

the loco was being stripped and being put back to get it into running condition.the cabin was a mess with wires all over the place.
