A rare capture of a BSP 655 standing still at Parel. Nothing was mentioned on the loco as WDM2/WDM3 or WDS but the LP told me that it is the WDS6. This was the same loco type which myself & Sachin Buddhisagar had spotted at Sion station some months back (i.e BSP651). The LP also told me & Apoorva that this loco was brought right from Bilaspur till Parel for it's trial run.

Bhilai or Bokaro steel plant? Note that Bhilai would be a little before Bilaspur while travelling from Mumbai. One could however travel to Bokaro via Bilaspur and Raurkela.

BSP is not Bilaspur but Bhillai Steel Plant. The route would take it via Bilaspur, so the pilot was not wrong in what he told you guys. The turbocharger ending with the exhaust stack is almost invisible in this loco.

An image of the SH would have made matters simpler! Looks like the dynamic brake grid is absent on the SH.
WDM3D & WDG3A now share their superstructures!

The shell actually looks like one from a WDM-3D! No flat top for this WDS-6?
