The traverser can extend or contract its arm. This time. they tried to push instead of pulling. Slowly the traverser extends its arms, pushing the jack, thereby pushing the loco itself!

110

Precise movement is absolutely necessary. Everyone associated with the movement devoted their 100% concentration on the work. Phenomenal work.

111

This photo provides a better view of the bar, the jack and the traverser behind it.

113

See how much the loco was moved towards the track. Also, the removed cattleguard lies before the loco.

115

The LHF side was moved. Now its the turn of the SHF to move. The bar is positioned, and wooden blocks are positioned on top of the slider while the jacks are providing support to the SHF side.

116

Perfect planning and positioning of wooden blocks.

117

The SHF is lowered on the wooden blocks.

119

The traverser pulls the heavy loco. Watch the oil snooze out from the green hose.

120

The arm is pulled inside, there by the loco is pulled and moved about a foot.

121

More pulling!

122

More clarity of the movement. Sequence 1 of 4: The fully extended arm of the traverser is pulled inside.

The workforce behind the re-railing taking a well deserved lunch. Due to work, I had to return home - yet to capture the fully re-railed loco. I shall do the same this weekend and post the picture.
