Twin BKSC WDM-2 "Jumbo" pulled into Hirakud station with a BTAP rake used for carrying alumina (enriched bauxite). The rake is owned by Vedanta Aluminium Ltd for transportation of alumina from its refinery at Lanjigarh to the smelter at Jharusuguda. Taken at Hirakud (near Sambalpur), Orrisa, India. For a short time, Pune too had a Jumbo with regular windscreen glasses patched onto steel sheets - on both sides! Looked hideous, I suppose the shed located the relevant spares and got the power back to the original look.

On a funny note, the loco can be called as 'Otrai Kan Sivarasan" in Tamil (in english - single eyed Sivarasan). Are the locos straightway coming from war base? Long live Jumbos.
