The EHT (extra high tension) detector on top of a Chennai EMU’s cab. The function of this sensor is to indicate the presence of the EHT in the OHE above. This indication helps the driver to come to a conclusion when in fault conditions such as the voltmeter not showing a reading even if the panto is raised.

I wish our loco workshops would do a better job with the finishing of the locos. You can clearly see the dents in the front portion of the loco. Overly painting the loco alone does not make a loco look good.
