But note the LHB type reading lamps in 3AC! A compensation for the extra bearth! Any idea if they have put them on the cabin side too?

Yeah, the allure of the SLB was that you could sit up and look outside at night. Now that this is gone, I will avoid the side berths as much as possible.

Besides reducing the storage space, the lower SLB will also mean that tall people will be uncomfortable while sitting on the side seats.

Looks like they have brought the SLB also a bit down! Earlier I used to book atleast one SLB to accomodate our luggage!
